5 Chic Products to Stylishly Organize Your Home

While I’m a fervent believer that you don’t need tons of bins to get organized, in small doses, they can really kick things up a notch. And unlike a nice-looking OBJET, a well-designed storage solution delivers on both form and function.

Here are some new faves that bring a MAJOR dose of chic to any space:

1. The Toolbox Caddy by Vitra. Find me a sleeker-looking caddy for the home! I love that it doesn’t scream, “hey, I’m a caddy!” It’s both understated and versatile, and can be used to store everything from pencils in your office, to makeup brushes in your bathroom.

2. The Straw bag. Goodbye reusable tote, hello straw bag! I’ve witnessed many a HIGHLY chic Parisian toting these around while grocery shopping, with the requisite baguette (or Chihuahua!) poking out. The look is très Charlotte Birkin, and also very practical, since they’re quite roomy and lightweight.

3. The Colorful Storage Box by Hay. These lovely lacquered boxes are jewels in and of themselves. If you’re color-averse like I am, this is a low-risk way to dip your toe in. They would love look smart and sophisticated in the office, living room, even in your closet. Ideal for storing stationery/thank you notes, accessories alla sunglass/chunky jewelry variety, or mementos/keepsakes.

4. Desk Drawers by Bisley. These desk drawers prove that organizing products can be anything but dull! I love the electric Yves Klein blue, which could really dress up a mostly white office space. I personally own the white Alex Desk Drawers by IKEA, which are functional and fine; however, this would definitely put a smile on my face if I owned it. (Especially important in one’s office!)

5. The Pile Up Caddy by Penco. This little stackable bin is probably not CHIC, but it’s definitely the cooler version of those generic tool storage bins. They have a real Wes Anderson feel to them, and would make lovely storage for children’s toys (hello, legos!), office supplies…basically wherever you need a lil bin! I also like that they come with a label (unlike the original version), and a little handle for easy transport.
